Ceasefire Break in Ethiopia After 4-Month: Killed 7 Civilians

Nairobi: An air strike killed at least seven individuals in the capital of Ethiopia’s northern Tigray region on Friday, medical officials there said, the first such assault following a four-month-old truce imploded for this present week. The authorities said three kids were among the dead yet a federal government representative denied any non-military personnel losses.

The air strike on Mekelle occurred two days after fighting broke out again between the national government and Tigrayan forces on the line of the Tigray and Amhara regions, breaking the truce.
