Once again Virat Kohli proved why he is called the King. Kohli’s leadership, drove India to win an electrifying success over Pakistan. Kohli almost single-handedly drove India to triumph despite them losing their best four within the initial seven overs. King Kohli was unbeaten on 82 off 53 balls but at the non-striker’s end. It was R Ashwin who hit the ball over the in-field with India requiring one off the last ball to take the team over the line.
After the team, India’s great win Rohit Sharma said “I was in the dressing room. I don’t have any words left. You got to expect something like this in a game like this. We wanted to stay in the game for as long as possible. That crucial partnership was a game-changing moment for us. The pitch had something in it. There was a nice carry. Some swing and seam. We put them under some pressure. Good to see from the bowling perspective. They batted well toward the end. But we knew we had to bat out of our skin to chase this. Those two guys are experienced. Staying calm and taking the game deep was very critical. Good for our confidence. Always crucial to get off the mark like this. We were in no position to win this. It is Virat’s best knock playing for India. I would expect nothing less from the crowd wherever we go in Australia”.
The opposition team captain Babar Azam said “Our bowlers bowled well. All credit to Kohli and Pandya. It wasn’t easy with the new ball. We had partnerships after 10 overs. We had a chance. We tried to stick to our plans. But credit to Virat Kohli. In the middle, we decided we wanted a wicket and held the spinner back. We had a lot of positives. The way Iftikhar played, and the way Shan played.”
Virat Kohli got Player of the Match. “It’s a surreal atmosphere, I have no words, no idea how that happened. I am lost for words. Hardik believed we could do it if we stayed till the end. When Shaheen bowled from the pavilion end, that’s when we decided to take him down. Haris is their prime bowler, and I hit those two sixes. The calculation was simple. Nawaz had 1 over to the bowl, so if I could take Haris down, they would panic. From 28 in 8, it came down to 16 to 6. I tried to stick to my instincts. The first one was the back of a hand-slower ball (the one over long-on). Standing here I just feel like it was meant to be. Till today Mohali was my best innings against Australia. Today I will count this one higher. Hardik kept pushing me. The crowd has been phenomenal. You guys (fans) kept backing me and I am grateful for your support”, he said.

Okay, this might be a little bit random, but I saw your blog and had to ask, are you interested in a translation job? I know I’m a stranger but I felt like doing a good deed today by alerting a couple people that a good position has opened up here: and they pay sometimes even $70/hour. Okay, they won’t always give that amount, I only made around $400 last week, but it’s part time and when times are tight, every little bit helps. Hope it helps, and my apologies if you’re not interested. Have a great day/evening!
Hi there and Happy Holidays!! It’s the season of giving and I just a quick question, are you looking to supplement your income? Maybe you’re stuck in the rat race and blogging isn’t working out too well? Or perhaps you’re retired and need a little income boost to help you cover some bills? I really think there is an AWESOME opportunity that could really help you out which I came across: I’ve been working from the comfort of my home this winter and supplementing my income :-). Okay, translating isn’t always the easiest, but it’s consistent and reliable. The thing I like about it is that you basically choose how much you want to work. As long as you can find 45 minutes per day, this will be worth your time. Hope it helps, and I hope you have a GREAT 2023!
