Udaipur Tailor Brutally Killed For Supporting Nupur Sharma, Accused Arrested

Udaipur: The murder of a tailor yesterday sparked tension in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

The killers – Gos Mohammad and Riyaz – entered Kanhaiya Lal’s shop at a crowded market in the city and slit his throat with a cleaver, and even filmed the incident.

The attackers have been arrested. The dead had posted in support of Nupur Sharma on Comment Row.

The accused released a video savagely committing the crime and also threatening PM Modi.

The manner in which the state government of Rajasthan has acted in the last three and a half years, it is entirely responsible for this terrorist attack.

This is not an isolated incident in itself, such incidents are happening again and again in Rajasthan.

When there are festivals, then different laws are made for different religions. Festivals are imposed on one community, at the same time, when festivals of other societies take place, they are given a free hand.

Prohibitory orders have been imposed in Rajasthan for a month, and Internet services cut for 24 hours across the state.

The Union ministry said today it has directed the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to take the probe into the case.

In Jaipur, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has convened a high-level meeting at 12 pm with the state minister for Home Rajendra Yadav, Chief secretary Usha Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary, Home, DGP, DG Intelligence, and other senior officers, official sources said.

Condemning the murder of a tailor in Udaipur, Ajmer Dargah Deewan Zainul Abedin Ali Khan on Tuesday said that Muslims of India will never allow the Talibanisation mindset to surface in the country.

Many Politicians including Rahul Gandhi, and Mamata Banerjee condemned the barbaric incident.
