Will Smith Apologizes to Chris Rock for the 2nd Time for Oscars Slap Incident

Actor Will Smith once again apologized to comedian Chris Rock whom he had slapped during Oscars 2022. On Instagram, Will shared a long video and made sense of his viewpoints after the incident. Will said that he contacted Chris yet the comedian isn’t prepared to talk. Will Smith apologized to Chris and his family, including his mom Rose Rock. The video starts with text that read, “It’s been a minute… Over the last few months, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking and personal work. You asked a lot of fair questions and I wanted to take some time to answer.”

In the video, Will said, “Why didn’t you apologize to Chris in your acceptance speech?” “I was fogged out by that point. It was all fuzzy. I’ve reached out to Chris and the message that came back is that he is not ready to talk. When he is, he will reach out. So I will say to you, Chris. I apologize to you. My behavior was unacceptable and I am here whenever you are ready to talk,” addressed the actor.

Will said he didn’t realize the number of individuals he ended up hurting with the incident and apologized to Chris Rock’s mom. After the discussion around Will Smith’s slap, the actor ventured out to India for a spiritual journey. Discussing his most recent three months, he proceeded, “This is likely indispensable. “It’s like, I made a choice on my own from my own experience, from my history with Chris. Jada had nothing to do with, sorry babe, sorry to my kids and family for the heat that I that I brought on all of us,” he said. Will likewise apologized to individual chosen people at the Oscars 2022.

“I’m human and I committed a mistake and I am making an effort not to consider myself a piece of s***,” said Will and apologized to everybody he has let down with his way of behaving. In the meantime, The Academy has restricted Will Smith after the incident for the following 10 years. The choice was made after the actor left the Academy.
